What VPN software do you use?

ClearVPN uses the opensource OpenVPN server and client program. OpenVPN clients are available for all major platforms, including Windows, Mac OSX and Linux.

Where are your servers located?

Our VPN servers are currently located in Great Britain (UK), the United States of America (USA) and Canada (CAN). You can surf from any country depending on the package you choose.

Do I get my own public IP address?

No, when you log on to our vpn network you will share an IP address with other users.

Do you block any ports or applications?

No, all ports and applications will work.

Will VPN service increase my internet speed?

No you internet speed will still be limited to your package that you have with your Internet Service Provider (ISP).

When using the VPN do you show advertising?

We do not show advertising on our VPN network.

Travel and Work

If you travel overseas you know the problems that can be had when connecting to the internet. Often times your traffic and email is intercepted, scrutinized and even filtered by the host government. When you connect to the internet through ClearVPN you bypass any and all interference that you may encounter.

Similarly your work place may restrict access to certain web sites and ClearVPN can solve this problem as well.
